ISTA 1E Testing Services
Unitized Loads of Same Packaged Products
ISTA test procedure 1E is an integrity test for unitized loads of the same retail or institutional packaged products. Unitized loads are one or more packaged products, typically on a skid or pallet, secured together or restrained for distribution as a single load. Unitized loads may be a stretch-wrapped pallet load of individually packaged products, a single non-packed machine, component, or durable-goods product banded to a pallet, or a pallet with a corrugated tray, tube, and cap, and other similar packaging. Advance Packaging offers ISTA 1E testing through its independent ISTA-certified test laboratory.
- Evaluate the performance of unitized loads of the same product
- Compare relative performance of package and product design alternatives
