ISTA test procedure 3A is a general simulation performance test for individual packaged products shipped either air or ground through a parcel delivery carrier, such as FedEx and UPS. Advance Packaging conducts standard ISTA 3A testing for traditional fiberboard cartons. Use ISTA test procedure 3A to evaluate the protective performance of packaged product when encountering typical stresses of handling and transportation through small parcel delivery systems and atmospheric conditions such as temperature and humidity. Advance Packaging offers ISTA 3A testing through its independent ISTA-certified test laboratory.
- ISTA 3A evaluates the protective performance of a packaged product related to vibration, shock, and other stresses, as well as temperature and humidity normally encountered during handling and transportation in a parcel delivery system
