ISTA 3H Testing Services
Products or Packed Products in Mechanically Handled Bulk Transport Containers
ISTA test procedure 3H is a general simulation performance test for products or packaged products in mechanically handled bulk transport containers. Use ISTA test procedure 3H for testing bulk loads comprised of one transport container or system of either same or mixed product that are handled by mechanical systems because of product size or weight, for example, automotive parts and components in reusable racks. Advance Packaging offers ISTA 3H testing through its independent ISTA-certified test laboratory.
- Intended for bulk loads of same product and can also be considered for mixed loads
- Evaluate the protective performance of bulk transport systems related to vibrations, shocks, and other stress encountered in handling and transportation as well as atmospheric temperature and humidity conditions
- Evaluate packaging performance of interior dunnage
- Testing is based on general data rather than any specific distribution system
